The Tricot-Slen can be used immediately from birth and you can carry your baby in different ways , both lying down and upright. The way to put it on is always the same, so you only have to remember one knot method .

An important criterion is “the stretchability” of the fabric.

• The less the fabric stretches lengthwise, the better! Fabric that stretches in the width and diagonally provides comfort, but if the fabric also stretches in the length, the baby will sink down.
• If the fabric also contains elastane, the baby will 'bounce' (move up and down). Annoying for the baby but also for the wearer because the weight feels heavier.
• A sling that stretches in all directions must be worn extremely tight to prevent your child from sitting too low from the start. This will often cause an 'oppressive' feeling.

The Tricot-Slen is a sling with light stretch, making it extremely easy to use. Thanks to a very special knitting technique, developed in close collaboration with our manufacturer in the Netherlands, the Tricot-Slen offers optimal comfort and provides perfect support. This unique technique means that the fabric stretches pleasantly in the width and diagonally, making it easy to put on the sling, but hardly in the length. Moreover, no elastane is used in the Tricot-Slen, so your child will not "bounce" but will sit wonderfully comfortably against you!
